Happy New Year and Happy Inauguration! We are delighted to announce that the Climate Equity Policy Center is releasing our first model policy, a model resolution that allows local governments to commit to clear steps supporting a transition to an equitable circular economy. As our communities reel from the health and economic impacts of the pandemic, there is no better time to figure out how to build back better, moving toward an economic system that protects us from climate disaster while supporting good jobs, strong local businesses, and racial justice. The resolution is accompanied by factsheets and a background memo. Let us know if you have any questions or feedback as you use these resources – and please share them onward!
