We were brought on by Emory University’s Office of Sustainability Initiatives to explore climate equity as part of Emory’s commitment to Second Nature’s Climate Leadership Network. With our partner Just Strategies, we surveyed the campus community, supported community conversations, and developed a set of climate equity reports to highlight climate equity opportunities identified by students, staff, faculty, and community members. These partnerships allowed us to lift up climate equity opportunities identified by students, staff, faculty, and community members. These recommendations and considerations are reflected in Emory’s 2023 Climate Action Plan.
